|Kiwanis Strengthens Community Outreach|
Merrillville, IN June 2, 2008- The Merrillville Noon Kiwanis goal of "changing the world one child and one community at a time" recently received a boost with the addition of two new members. Jeff Marlatt with Wachovia Securities and Christopher Mahlmann, President of Ideas in Motion, have now added their expertise to the growing club.
"We're proud to be working with Kiwanis, and hope that together we can reach even more people in the community," said Mahlmann.
"Our new members arrived at a perfect time," said Merrillville Noon Kiwanis President Barb Koby. "With their help, we can make our upcoming fund raising efforts more successful than ever."
Mahlmann's firm specializes in business development. "We are building a database and marketing plan specifically geared to increasing community awareness of Kiwanis and the incredible work they do," said Mahlmann.
The Merrillville Noon Kiwanis meets every Thursday at the Old Country Buffet in Merrillville, 1634 E 80th Avenue, from noon until 1:00 PM. Anyone interested in making a difference in the community and specifically the lives of children or learning more about Kiwanis is invited to attend.
