  The Merrillville Kiwanis Clubs joined together to make sure that every third grade student in the Merrillville schools will be able to have their very own dictionary.
In April, 2007, Club members personally distributed 544 dictionaries to 26 classrooms in the Merrillville Community Schools and Aquinas School.
Dictionaries will again be given to all third grade students this year. The Merrillville Kiwanis Clubs plan to make this an annual project for many years to come!

How Can You Help?
Donations of any amount from
- $1.50 to purchase one dictionary
- $40.00 for one class
- $200.00 for one school
will help the Kiwanis Clubs reach their goal of raising $1,000.
Any additional funds raised will be kept in an account to start the funds for the next school year.
